X61 Tablet Autorotate don't work,

Well I got my tablet a week ago, I'm running it on XP Tablet PC edition.

the only problem I'm facing is that when I'm in Tablet mode, my screen don't autorotate in the direction i have placed it.

i have updated my system through think ventage. But that didn't work. i have checked he graphics properties and almost everything.

Any Suggestions?

Have you calibrated and enabled ActiveRotate yet? IMO, it's not a good idea to keep this feature only in tablet shortcut menu, I, once, spent a lot of time just to find this.

For all others, whos auto rotate function does not work, I suggest you use the golden method which i have found to be of extreme use in lenovo computers.

simply go to run then type in services.msc

then look for TABLET service and start it. Voila youre tablet functions like auto rotate works. (although i think you have to enable it by ticking the checkbox in Tablet shortcut menu first).

The same services.msc can also be used to fix other problems in ur lenovo tablets.
