Hallo everybody
I have a question that could be already discuss here but I was'nt able to find it :-)
I'd like to buy a recent X61 tablet but I want to be sure that the screen should be touch, by pen and by finger. There is a list where I can find that?Is my intention to test Win 8 but if the screen is not a good touchscreen is not a good thing.! :-)
I already have a n IBM T41 and it is really great!
Thank's in advance

Welcome to the forum!
Yes, some X61T units had the finger-enabled "multitouch" screens. All of them were XGA, none SXGA+.
Good luck.

Thank you George for your welcome and for answer.
Ok for the resolution of the screen but this is the only discrimination taht I have to look?
For example a 7763-CTO X61T model is ok for my target?
I need a list!!! :-)

You're not going to find a list anywhere, especially not for models sold outside U.S.
I can't stress enough how important is to *specifically* inquire about this particular feature with any possible source of the machine. Not all of XGA models were multitouch-enabled.
Good luck.

I don't think that we're on the same page here...
U.S. models can be located via books, but not the international ones.
For a CTO unit, you need a serial number to do a parts lookup and decide whether it was shipped with the LCD you're interested in.
If you have a non-CTO model, here's your startup page:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/default.page?
For CTO models you must start here:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/partsLookup.page
Good luck.
