I just buy second hand a Thinkpad X220 Tablet type 4299 BD7
I can't make the fingerprint reader work.
the peripheral seems to be setup correctly, at least Windows 7 pro says so. It's identified as TouchChip fingerprint Coprocessor (WBF advanced mode) with driver from AuthenTec.
Each time I try to setup figerprint I'm send to a non existent page on authentec web site (I know it was bough by apple)
I could dl a driver from a third party site, but with no better result.

Well... I finally succeed finding the driver... on the lenovo web site.
I used the html page name (the one that don't exists anymore), that is "ufma-64bit" and the word "authentec" and google give me the lenovo page.
I can't make a copy/paste as I'm not on the right computer, but it's:http://support.lenovo.com/fr/en/downloads/ds030585
file name is "Authentec TrueSuite Fingerprint Software for 64-bits Windows" - in fact windows 7
and it works on the X220 tablet
