old ultrabook pro keyboard on new Helix 2nd gen

Dear Friends,

  Does anyone know if the old ultrabook pro keyboards for gen1 helix (part 4X30G93893-03X6583) 3xxx series helix actually work with gen 2 helixes like the 20cg and 20ch?

  i have been looking for some info but with inconclusive results. Some sellers at ebay claim it is, but would love some impartial advise...

Good day and welcome to the community.

From everythjing I've seen, you would not be able to dock a Gen 2 Helix tablet to a Gen 1 keyboard/dock. They are mechanically non-compatible.

  Thank you very much indeed for your answer! Now looking at pictures of ultrabook pro keyboard on on the net, I notice the different position of latches and data connectors... But it was certainly misleading (look at http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/tablets/thinkpad/thinkpad-helix/#tab-accessories_-_services for the helix1 accessories and http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/tablets/thinkpad/thinkpad-helix-2nd-gen/?action=testC#accessoriesTab) where the part numbers are the same and, in principle, should be different one each other (the keyboard is not there, but the docking, for example)...

  Add to that the fact some sellers on ebay claim they are compatible, and then on lenovo page (https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/acc100153), there is only one PN, it is dated 2015 and matches, ...

   Thanks for confirming, I should have check myself via googling some pictures around... Now the challenge will be to find where to buy one (is not an accesory but just an option at purchase time...
