I've just purchase 11 of the X220t's and we are having the same issue with at least two of them. I've not found a perminate fix either.
These things were taken out of the box Friday, 1/6/2012, with full updates running Windows 7 X64. We are running VIPRE AV and I can't believe that this is happening with brand new out of the box laptops.
The only *FIX* that I've been able to find is to disable/enable the pen in the Device Manager. Lenovo didn't setup a Hot Key for this did they? It's almost as though they did...
