I have not tried the generic driver.
(One would expect that I would not be the only one on the net to have this problem, but I find no other reports of this problem.)
I called the support number.
They say "BSOD are usually due to software errors." I agree. But again, why isn't anyone else seeing the SW errors?
They suggest reinstalling windows!
They would be willing to take the laptop and study the problem. Yeah right, the problem appears inconsistently maybe once a day. Good luck support! I'm not sending the laptop there either!
Maybe I'll try the driver thing...
