Cannot boot from USB stick

I have tried 4 different brands of USB sticks on three different servers and cannot get any of them to boot from USB.  When I go into the bios, the USB Key is not seen when I looka t currently attached USB devices (it only shows the keyboard and mouse).  The BIOS descriptors look like it _should_ be able to in that the legend show HDD along with HID, etc. but they never show up.  Any ideas?

Re: Cannot boot from USB stick

Hi there,

If your trying to install an OS, then you need to use a tool to make the USB stick bootable.

WinsetupfromUSB is good for Windows installs, Unetbootin is good for Linux installs.
