RD 240 1046 11U won't boot if I have USB memory sticks plugged in to it, How do I get around this?

I have the boot order changed, so that it shouldn't even try to boot from the memory sticks, just the CD-ROM and the harddrive.

However, if I start up, the server just sits there with a flashing cursor until I shutdown.

If I remove the USB memory sticks, it boots fine.  They are SanDisk 64GB sticks.

Is there another setting that needs to be changed, or is there a problem with the server?

Thanks!

Hi Kshaeta,

Did you try the below actions when you encounter the issue?

1. Which USB port you are using? Can you please plug your USB disk in other USB ports and have a try?

2. Can you please plug in a different USB disk on the same server?

3. Can you please plug your USB disk in other servers(same model or different model) and have a try?

After the above actions, we could do a furter troubleshooting. Thanks.
