TS200v RAID size

Hi to community!

Quick question about RAID size... We had 2 disks of 1 TB in RAID 1. Then we needed extra storage, and replaced one disk with 2 TB disk, did rebuild, and then replaced second disk with 2 TB disk and did rebuild.

Now we have 2 disks of 2 TB in RAID 1 but RAID size is still 1 TB, not 2 TB and RAID manager (Ctrl - I) doesn't have option to inspect or increase RAID size.

How can we change that?

Thanks,

Ivan

Re: TS200v RAID size

welcome to the forum!

have you checked disk management (start > run > diskmgmt.msc) to see if the logical drive has any spare area available?   if you do see spare area then you can increase the partition size from within diskmgmt.

Re: TS200v RAID size

Yes, I checked that.

One disk is displayed with 1 TB size (which is wrong), should be 2 TB.

Re: TS200v RAID size

if you don't see any spare area then the controller won't relinquish it.   your only option at this point is to back up your data and build a new array from scratch.
