Lenovo SR650

2021-06-16, 9:20 AM

Hello

Is there a way to factory default BMC Xclarity. Have some problems with the server just restarting before I can press F1 and therefore can not reset BMC so login becomes standard.

I will try to update the server manually to fix the problem i have.

Thanks

Peter

Hello PYS,

Take a look at the link below and try number 7:

Let me know if this is correct, you are unsure what the LXCC password is and the system is boot looping that stops you from getting into the UEFI?

Yes, please log in to the XClarity interface through a web browser, and click BMC configuration> Backup and Restore> Reset BMC to factory Defaults> Start to Reset BMC to factory Defaults
As shown in the picture below

Reset XCC to factory default from UEFI setup : Reboot the system then press F1 during POST to enter UEFI setup menu. UEFI-setup> BMC settings ->Reset factory default setting

This is what i was looking for. It worked.

I manage to get reset XXC to default. I now got a DHCP address and a default login. UEFI now updated and my problem is gone.

Thank You all for your help :)
