This feature is specifically designed to allow the user to enable or disable the capability of using external USB speakers or microphones. This protects the conference room from unauthorized users connecting external USB audio devices. This feature is only intended to work on Hub 500 and should not be used for ThinkSmart Edition Tiny M920q since all mics and speakers are currently external.
Please note that Zoom devices cannot have an external audio device set as the preferred device if the ThinkSmart Manager audio is set to “Off”. The internal speaker and mics must be selected using the Zoom interface or Zoom Device configuration website to the preferred device before setting the audio “off” using the ThinkSmart Manager. Failure to make these settings will disable the conference room with “This room is not available” shown in the local conference room device along with the list of preferred devices now considered not connected. In this case even though the devices are physically connected the audio devices are restricted by ThinkSmart Manager. If you encounter the Zoom message, "This room is not available" and ThinkSmart Manager audio is set to "Off" for the affected device, please change the audio setting to "On" to resume normal room operations.
