Trouble code B0AF during Bios upgrade

2020-06-30, 21:45 PM

For past "TWO" BIOS(s) updates via "System Update 5" my system halts with a code B0AF, I tried running stand alone version of BIOS via *.exe and that produced "ZERO" results as well.

I tried unplugging all components and still get same response, before when i updated BIOS i NEVER had this issue

I did diag-ed this system and had "ZERO" problems shown.

I called @ 1800 that resulted with "ZERO" help since system constantly disconnecting me.

I'm using ThinkStation P700(Current BIOS A5KTA4AUS, problematic BIOS A5JYA8USA) Win10Pro 64(uptoday on updates), with plenty of storage and memory installed

Thx

I'm sorry to hear that you're having quite a bit of issues with your P700 system with updating BIOS.  If I understand correctly, BIOS version A5KTA4AUS is OK and not showing any issues and you're only seeing issues when you flash up to A5KTA8USA, correct?

If so,  can you try flashing back down to BIOS A5KTA4AUS, https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/thinkcentre_bios/a5j3a4usa.zip to see if the problem persists?
