Hello EugenioGigante,

Welcome to the community!

This space is actually built into the BMC therefore it can't be upgraded.

If you would let me know what you hope to achieve we can look into a solution.

My question is: how could mount an ISO like VMware through xcc application?

I recently wrote an article on how to do this but it is still in the approval process. In the meantime I attached the word document I created during the creation process.

Re: Remote Disc On Card (RDOC): 0 uploaded (50 MB available)

Hi,

  • Because XCC is an embedded system and only has limited space to allocate for uploaded images. For http/sftp/ftp option the image is uploaded to the XCC. Max size for all the images MUST be less than 50MB.
  • Samba and NFS do not have upper limit bound since it is a mounted file system.
  • "Mount Media File from Network" is another way that can mount the image that is larger than 50MB. Mount Media File from Network.png

Hope this helps.

On our new ThinkSystem SR530, the ‘Activate’ button is missing.

We’ve tried different browsers, ensured we have full superviser permissions. There is no activate button.

Any idea why? Thanks

Re: Remote Disc On Card (RDOC): 0 uploaded (50 MB available)

hello, all

I found a work around for fix the issue, when you connect at the remote desktop by Xcc, you can see the bios option that they are allowing to mount any ISO DVD through the network path.

Regards.
