SE350 onboard switch - Strongly recommend Lenovo switch to LuCI

2020-07-01, 2:59 AM

Dealing with UIC with the embedded switch on the SE350 is a pain.  Not every person who uses the SE350 will have to interact with it in this way.  However, for those that do, not all of them are going to know how to use this command line.  I've had some exposure to it but I find it very clunky to work with.  To fix this issue I highly recommend that Lenvo integrate the LuCI WebUI into the server, similar to how its done with XCC.  The LuCI WebUI makes many administration tasks easier, especially when making network modifications.  I don't see this task being to difficult since the OS for the embedded switch is based on OpenWRT. The full version of which includes a working LuCI WebUI.  They really go hand in hand.  Please do it. https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/luci/luci.essentials
