ST50 - No RAID Volumes with XClarity

Hi,
I have a new ST50 server with 2 SATA hard drives and 2 SSD hard drives. This was configured for a RAID1 in the RAID BIOS. Now I'm trying to do the Windows installation with XClarity Provisioning Manager Lite. However, in XClarity, the RAID is not recognized. Error message: 0 disk drives attached to the controller.
Have the RAID now repealed, but the error remains the same.
How are the disks recognized?

Hello. Would you please tell which RAID card and which Windows OS to install? May this Windows version need install RAID driver so as to recognize RAID and HDDs. Please download the RAID driver of  the Windows version and read its readme, thanks.

Re: ST50 - No RAID Volumes with XClarity

Hello, this is the on-board RAID adapter of the ST50 model. The disks are recognized correctly in XClarity. Have now performed a manual installation over XClarity with Windows Server 2019. Worked.

Re: ST50 - No RAID Volumes with XClarity

Hi heckflosse,

Here is the tip for your reference ,the LXPM lite only works under UEFI mode , you  need to set the option 'CSM' in BIOS setup from 'enabled' to 'disabled' if you want to setup RAID with LXPM lite, thanks!

Re: ST50 - No RAID Volumes with XClarity

Hello, thank you for your answer. The configuration of the RAID worked afterwards. However, operating system installation over XClarity only supports Windows Server 2016. The Lenovo website has drivers for Windows Server 2019 and is therefore officially supported. I used XClarity 1.20.
It would be nice if Lenovo suggested a consistent way here. This would be an enormous time saver for the system administrators advantage.
