we have a number of IBM/Lenovo x3650M4 and M5 servers we use for vmware ESX hosts. On some of them, we need to passthrough the USB controller to the VM.
This is possible on all x3650M servers, but under SR630, we are unable to passthrough the USB devices. They are not even visible in vmware PCI device availability.
Does anyone know if this is possible with SR630? Below are screen shots from vmware.

Please read and follow the latest best recipe for SR630 which contains a list of software and firmware components that have been tested together.
Please check the all of the USB port from the USB configuration in the UEFI are set to enabled.

I recommend you can enter the UEFI setting and set the memory allocation from 2G to 4G to see if the passthrough feature can be work normally. If not, this situation should be an issue that need you to open a field ticket to us for further investigation. Thank you to choosing Lenovo.

We checked USBs and all USBs are enabled.
We also tried to change the memory allocation from 2GB to 4GB, but that option was not available. We only had 3GB option and we tried with that, but no success.
Will contact my Lenovo representative and open a ticket.
