If I install Update Retriever on another machine (but keep the repository the same server location) - Do I need to move across any files? Are all the settings concerned contained in the repository?
Answer
With a fresh install of Update Retriever there is an option to enter Repository path. You'll be able to select the server location and you'll be all set; you shouldn't have to move any files.
