Rescue and Recovery - Infinite Loop

Hello.

I have flawlessly used my laptop for 3months now, a Lenovo G530 4436 22G with Windows Vista Basic.

I now decided to give the laptop away to my sister. (By the way because I think the fan is making too much noise).

Anyway.

I ran Rescue and Recovery to try and reset to factory settings. Seems like a pretty easy thing to do. I have been used to DVD's etc from before that are packaged with the laptop. Lenovo now only has a partition with R&R to make things easier for the end-user.

Well, for me things are more complicated this way.

Watch this youtube-video of my screen.

R&R is going in an infinite loop telling me to restart over and over and over again.

No new message is displayed, only the same message.

What do I do now?

Re: Rescue and Recovery - Infinite Loop

Hi,

try to start again into RnR PDA and start the ful recovery of the system.

Otherwise in case you don't have the RnR CDs, they try to request them, as that might be the only chance for you if you don't have these CDs

Cheers

Re: Rescue and Recovery - Infinite Loop

Any solution to this?  I have the CDs and ran through all of them (xp).  It finishes, but says it is missing AOD file.  Then when rebooting it goes into rescue and recovery and won't boot into windows.
