Dear friends of Lenovo,
I have bought this beautiful NB. It was brand new and without OS. Does the NB support any Linux like Mint or Ubuntu? I wanted install there Linux Mint 19.2, 19.1, Ubuntu 18.04 and Ubuntu-Mint but each OS froze sometime. For example when I start Skype, or .avi file. I can move by "hand/arrow" on the screen, but nothing more. I have to restart by pressing power button. I have changed many kernels. Nothing help.
The NB works most often well. But sometime it froze. It is not normal. And Mint I colud not even switch off by button in Menu or by power button. Always by pressing power button for aprox. 10s.

Windows 10, that's it. Lenovo certified it for nothing else. Linux compatibility on Lenovo laptops is entirely nonexistent outside of the ThinkPad realm.

It depends on what he means by "support"?
I have an Ideapad 330S-15IKB that works fine with almost ANY Linux distro (Mint, Manjaro, Ubuntu, Lubuntu, etc.)
I also have an old Ideapad G50-45 AMD A6 that also works perfectly with everything I've installed on it.
It's not "supported" or "certified" by Lenovo but that is not the same thing as compatibility or if it's capable of working.
It works! So if he means what OS will it run then there are lots of different possibilities. (For Windows users new to Linux I recommend LinuxMint).

Here Manjaro Linux is reported working but I would recommend LinuxMint instead of Manjaro for new Linux users...
"I installed Manjaro 18.02 gnome on a fresh new Lenovo Ideapad 330-15ICH ..."
He is reporting a problem with the battery indicator but probably this is because he's not running the latest release.
[edit:] battery issue fixed here (but again, not good for Linux noobs!) Try LinuxMint.
