hi there , i am facing a real big issue with my lenovo y520 since i boot up the ubuntu distro i am having slow performance and
also the SSD driver is not working ,, does my laptop is uncompatible with linux or what ?

There are several threads in the forums discussing Linux on the Legion Y 520. Here's one of them that seems to report general success. Perhaps there's suggestion there that might help you - or perhaps you'd like to join that discussion.
