Going off topic a little bit.
I have a P52, with 1.17 BIOS, and I have switched to discrete graphics. Haven't touched the Thunderbolt settings yet, basically because I have no Thunderbolt devices.
I am trying to get Linux Mint installed alongside Windows 10 on the built-in 1TB hard drive (I hope to get an M2 SSD for it sometime during the next year, money permitting).
The Live USB flash drive, boots without issue, and the installation seems to go well, apart from the grub install. Now when it boots, its comes up with a grub command line, so grub is installed, but somehow the configuration is wrong. If I need to go into Windows (I am typing this on the laptop) I can do this by hitting F12 to get the boot menu, and then selecting Windows Boot Manager.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong/how to fix this?
Thanks and Happy New Year!
