Welcome to the Lenovo forum discussion.
As we were checking here, there is no available driver for the USB to RJ45 for the Linux OS in the Lenovo support https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/500-series/530s-15ikb/downloads?CID... that you can download. The downloadable drivers that we have available from the Lenovo Support website is only designed for a Windows 10 OS.

If you use the Lenovo and posible other USB-C to RJ45 ethernet dongles it should work straight out of the box drivers are already in the kernel
