Ubuntu upgrade causes dual boot Windows 10 Bitlocker problems

I am both running Win10 and Ubuntu 19.04 on my Yoga c930.

After updating to Ubuntu 18.10 and then to 19.04, Windows 10 demands reentry of my bitlocker password.

How do I avoid having to do this every time?

Re: Ubuntu upgrade causes dual boot Windows 10 Bitlocker problems

The reason this is happening is most likely related to Linux changing the boot manager.  The default for both Bios and UEFI bitlocker setting is to monitor those for changes.  They can be disabled in the policy editor if you really want to disable this.

Thanks. It only takes a few hours to type in the 700 character code. I have nothing better to do. Smiley Wink
