x120e Ubuntu Issues

2013-10-30, 17:21 PM

Hi all, does anyone have experience with x120e and ubuntu? I installed the lastest version and found that is cannot playback 1080p youtube videos smoothly, even though they play just fine on windows 8.1. I have installed proprietory AMD drivers and am using the lastest flash player for ubuntu. I'm dual-booting 8.1 and Unbuntu 13.xx at the moment.

Also, I don't know how to change trackpoint sensitivity in ubuntu - the trackpoint is too insensitive and I find going back to the touchpad very inconvenient.

I have found this article regarding the trackpoint http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Linux-Discussion-Knowledge-Base/Configuring-Trackpoint-in-Linux/ta-p/232008

but I'm not quite sure how to follow the steps to install and use it.
