Mirage Solo - Lock down settings

Is there any way to lock down the settings on the devices to keep students from changing settings?

Students are moving the devices to their phones and bypassing Internet security filters.

Re: Mirage Solo - Lock down settings

Hi - unfortunately, there is no way in the headset settings to control switching to a different WiFi signal.  I researched the OS options and Developer options, but it is not a feature that is available today.

In the future, this may be able to be controlled via MDM (Mobile Device Management).  I will share this feedback with the product team as a request to add to feature roadmap.

How do you control this on other devices?

- Rich

Re: Mirage Solo - Lock down settings

In our iOS devices, we install a profile through a certificate that controls the device. It has the wi-fi settings in that profile. From there, we add the mac address to our network management for allowing it to get out to the internet. I believe Radix can manage android devices. At least it does for our OPS panels on the backs of some of our interactive displays.
