Question

Can I edit my InsydeH2O EFI?

Answer

NOT SUPPORTED BY LENOVO - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

Yes, you can. Editing works with a .FD file (it can have another extension, for example ".ROM" o ".BIN").

For example, you can:

  • Modify a logo.
  • Modify EC.
  • Modify a module.
  • Insert a new module.
  • Delete an existent module.
  • Modify the microcode.
  • Modify DMI structure.

After you finish editing, you have to save changes and flash the file.

You can download EzH2O here.

Note: Flashing a modded EFI can void your warranty.
