Boot menu error

2019-08-24, 22:53 PM

I was updating windows. The laptop shuts down. I turn it on again and this boot menu shows up with only two options. When I choose the ATA HDDO (which I assume is my SSD) the computer goes to a black screen and goes back to boot menu again. And when I choose the PCI LAN option, the computer goes to Start PXE over ipv4, and then Start PXE over ipv6, and then back to the boot menu again. So now I can’t get pass the boot menu to start my computer.

Its sunday day and all the IT support shops are closed. Would anyone care to help?

you don't mention the model and the steps depend on what you have and whether you are in warranty.

It sounds like either your disk died or the drive was logically damaged. You want to run diagnostics and how to do that is different for different models

I have been facing same issue and i found the solution. I don't know if it work for you or not but try this...

Shut down the laptop by power button

Now Press power button again and than press F2 key till boot window open

See the all options above. Go to last option "boot"

Enter on first option and select "legacy" option

Save and exit

That's all.

Hope it will solve your problem as well.
