Re: Thinkpad X200 Tablet Using Windows 10 Full

Hello,

I was wandering if any one else is testing out Windows 10 on there thinkpad X200

I installed windows 10 on my thinkpad X200 Tablet and so far its working with no problems  (been using it as my daily system so I can test it fully)

all the drivers that work on windows 7 are working on windows 10 down side is the graphic driver.

that one is to outdated to do anything with it when it comes to loading something.

thats one of the reason I stayed away from windows 8

But I am really hoping LENOVO will fix Driver issues so you can use windows 10 you know since it be a free upgrade with your OEM product key my as well use it. on your Lenovo thinkpad System

Re: Thinkpad X200 Tablet Using Windows 10 Full

I found the driver I was looking for. It is the Windows 7 driver, but it works fine with Windows 10 on my XP200.

In case the link doesn't work, search for "ThinkPad Enhanced Multitouch Driver for Windows 7"

Thinkpad X200 Tablet Using Windows 10 Full

Re: Thinkpad X200 Tablet Using Windows 10 Full

Hi Cesmed,

Yeh, I'm running the latest build on an X200 Tablet and everything seems to be running alright.

I'm running a 32 bit upgrade from Windows 7 and the graphics driver is working pretty good.  I should just get rid of the recovery partition because all that will do is restore it back to Vista.

Graphics are working pretty good. My driver is from 2013, which driver are you using?

Hi, what type of touchscreen / digitizer driver are you using? I´ve tried many manuals and recommendations on forums but still no success. Pen is working fine but the touchscreen still does nothing. Am using the latest Wacom driver now. It was working before under W8.1 and XP. But I don´t remmember the exact procedure. Thanks for your tips.

Yes. I've managed to do that successfuly. At first there were some stalling out of nowhere, but after some reboots it looks like everything's working OK. I've installed the hotkey Windows 7 drivers for the on-screen displays for volume, etc.

Re: Thinkpad X200 Tablet Using Windows 10 Full

HI,

I just did it a week ago an it's running smoothly (i have HDD on it). My brother has one with SSD and after a while it got very slow. On another brand with SSD he had to install again after formatting it (same frozen issue).

I cannot use the fingerprint authetification but the rest is ok.

I've also just upgraded to Windows 10. The touchscreen and pen are not working at all. Any luck getting drivers?

Hi @Sjan365, I have win 10 on my old x200 laptop and it's working just fine. The single thing I didn't manage to make work is the fingerprint logon. I'm sure there might be some twiks but couldn't find them.

For a home computer it's ok because I've setup a pin and i can unlock fast the laptop.

Is there anything in particular you want to know?
