After installing the latest (4.70 Build 2) Password Manager to Windows 10 (Build 9926) on my Thinkpad T520, it does not work well (I try to use it with Chrome 40.0.2214.111 m, plugin version is 4.60.3).

I'm experiencing this problem on my ThinkPad Tablet 10 and can't even start the program.
I only get a message box telling me, that `MSVCR110.dll` is missing.
Reinstall didn't help either.
Edit: A uninstall and clean reinstall did help tho' (don't forget to backup passwords ;-))

I'm sorry to tell you that Lenovo Password Manager is not going to be supported on Windows 10. This software is basically going end-of-life. Look for a formal announcement soon, but the point of me telling you this now is so that you don't waste any more time trying to troubleshoot issues with Password Manager on Windows 10.

Just a note: Password Manager started to work some Windows 10 builds ago on the same computer I wrote the first post (Thinkpad T520).
Now it works fine for me with Windows 10 Build 10240, Chrome 44.0.2403.125 m, Password Manager 4.70 Build 2, Chrome Plugin version 4.60.3.
I didn't reinstall anything, it just worked after the Windows 10 build update with the same configuration.

Hi,
I have an X220 and upgraded to W10. PWM does not work in Edge . . . but I just found under All Apps - Windows Accessories - IE11. PWM continues to work on W10 IE11 which at this point I prefer to Edge for several reasons.
I looked up a number or tweaks and tips articles about W10 but did not see any of them mention that IE11 was still available under W10. Regards - K

If it is true that Thinkvantage Password Manager will not work on Windows 10 - it is a real Scndal about Lenovo ThinkVantage. All of my compressed files are using passwords manged by Thinkvantage Password Manager through the fingerprint tool. Now that it does not work on Windows 10 - it makes it very difficult to enter the password instead of scanning the finger! They should have announced it in advance so that people can find another solution before moving to WIndows 10 !!!
I tried to install it - and it would not even install - the system rejects the installation!!!

No - It has not been solved at all. If you try to install it - the system rejects the installation!!!

@zozpaz...
Just to clarify:

There was quite a bit of Win10 upgrade info/advice published by Lenovo (and all OEMs) as Win10 became available late last July: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht103822

Hi,
I am just wondering how did you make the password manager work on your windows 10 ? I have windows 10 64 bit and please advise the steps ...which version of the password manager to install and what other tweaks need to be done to make it work. I have T450s. Please update, appreciate your help in this regards. I just want to make it work as I have a lot of passwords, no matter if its on chrome/firefox/ie 11.
thanks
