I am experiencing the same problems with the Lenovo G570 with Atheros 9285. I have yet to try the solutions suggested but it sounds hopeful since I also have Cisco VPN and Virtualbox installed.
After you upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, no wireless networks are listed as available. This is true even though the wireless network adapter seems to function correctly. If you restart the computer or you try to reinstall the wireless network adapter driver, this does not resolve the problem.
This problem may also prevent wired Ethernet connections from functioning correctly. This affects connections that are made through either a built-in Ethernet adapter or a USB Ethernet adapter.
Note Multiple issues may cause this problem. This article lists the known issues and the appropriate resolutions.
Known issues
Issue 1: Unsupported VPN software
Symptoms
Unsupported VPN software is present during the upgrade to Windows 10.
Cause
This issue may occur if older VPN software is installed on Windows 8.1 and is present during the upgrade to Windows 10. Older software versions contain a filter driver (the Deterministic Network Enhancer) that is not upgraded correctly.
This issue has been reported to Microsoft to occur when older versions of the Cisco VPN client and SonicWall Global VPN client are used. Customers should contact their VPN vendor to obtain software that is supported for use on Windows 10.

Same thing here... Lenovo M5400. Right now, I uninstalled the WLAN from both the device manager and Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs. I am waiting for a Windows 10 driver, because the 8.1 doesn't work. I read somewhere that is does not work because of the CISCO modules. Is it so? Any help apreciatted ;)
Realtek RTL8723BE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC
EDIT: I also have another problem. I uninstalled Synaptics SMbus touchpad from system devices in device manager, and now when I press Fn+F6 the touchpad doesn't get disabled. How can I reinstall it?
I got the same result. I am not familiar with using command promt but I managed to get the 'dni_dne is not installed' too.
I have a Yoga that I've updated from 8.1 - the Yoga doesn't have an ethanet port and I'm being told that there is no networking hardware available. I restored my laptop and download what I thought were the correct adapators for Realtek from a memory stick but after installing them, no improvement.
I am unaware of having any Cisco software installed. A quick search does not find any either.
Did anyone tested to remove Cisco VPN under the Win 10 and then just restart and update network drivers ? Or do I need to go back to 8.1 and remove it first and then upgrade again ?
I've done that 2 times.. all works in Win 8.1 but not W10. So if it solve the issue, I will do this exercise again.
