@Amy_Lenovo, the software you suggested cannot be installed on Yoga 2 13, this model is not even on supported systems list. This is the output of the failed installation, same as the the user jgw posted before:

Legas,

Have you updated the Energy Manager and Flight Mode Manager for Windows 10? It can be downloaded here: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds103640

I'd also like feedback from other customers to see if removing Energy Manager for Win 8.1 or replacing it with the Windows 10 driver restores expected sleep mode function.

Thank you,

Hi Amy,

Dont know where from you've got yhis driver but is it supportedd by Yoga 2 13?, secondly uninstaling Lenovo Energy Manager and instaliing it again/or replacing it with the default windows one doesnt help at all, none of the suggestions from this threead helps so can someone start doing something about this please???

I would agree that this particular forum hasn't been very helpful but also the title of this forum is extremely general, as there are several issues with the windows 10 upgrade. Furthermore, as others have pointed out, this is not just a Lenovo problem it's manufacture wide. Simply put, there are too many issues to have just a general "issues" thread. I recommend locking this thread and starting specific threads that pertain directly with one particular issue. Especially considering now that several issues have been highlighted, it's time that they get addressed clearly for the early adopters of Windows 10.

Thanks for your suggestion. I am not sure how these issues are applicable to other models since the thread is for discussion about Win10 upgrade for one specific model - Yoga 2 13.

Nothing is stopping you from starting other topics if you feel the need to delve deeper in certain issues :cattongue:

Re: Yoga 2 13 laptop - Windows 10 issues

I too have been having multiple issues after upgrading to Windows 10.  I eventually just rolled back to Windows 8.1.

The issues included the following:

--Wi-fi signals would drop off, often as frequently as every five minutes.  I'd would need to either find another nearby wifi signal (which would then work for a while before it too dropped off) or restart.

--The pointer icon from the touchpad would simply disappear on many occasions.  One workaround was to hit ctrl-alt-del, the icon would then reappear and I'd hit "cancel" and then the pointer would be visible.  But this gets old after a while. And a relarted issue: the pointer was "sticky" --moving it was difficult, and sometimes required such pressure that instead I was instead "clicking" on something. (And yes, I tried adjusting the sensitivity in settings.)

--The screen would randomly flicker and then go black, returning after five or ten seconds.

--The computer didn't rotate when I put it in tablet mode.

I went through and did all the standard fixes, including updating drivers from the Lenovo page. None of these helped. I then rolled back to 8.1 yesterday and  all of the problems noted above disappeared.  Yes, Windows 8.1 is ugly.  But the Yoga 2 Pro was designed for it and apparently not Windows 10.  So until there's a major fix in place, I'm sticking with what works.

Re: Yoga 2 13 laptop - Windows 10 issues

I experienced the same problem after WIN10 installation, i.e. the screen does NOT adapt any more to 'tent', 'tablet' etc. locking/unlocking does not help at all, also not switching from 'desktop' to 'tablet' mode. Additionally, and even more painful is a complete dysfunction of the keyboard, that does not work any more. The track-ball works, but not the keys of the keyboard. After trying and searching for hours, I resetted my Lenovo-Yoga to WIN8.1. After having done that, Kaspersky is not recognized any more, and various apps such as the calender and mail apps do not work any more. It seems like he is not recognizing the acccount properly, even after de-connecting and re-connecting the account. Kaspersky is not recognized any more, cannot be de-installed and not re-installed. After all, a complete mess! The guys from Lenovo and Microsoft should definitely do better and check the platforms for their compatibility. Cannot be that the customers are sitting there for hours with all the unsolved troubles...

Maybe a good time to switch to MAC ??

Re: Yoga 2 13 laptop - Windows 10 issues

I upgraded to w10 and the only problem I have is some times the Yoga 2 will not come out of sleep , this happens about 1 in 4 times.  It was a new machine, went straight from 8.1 to w10.  The only non stock software installed was Chrome.  This happens when it is unplugged and it has plenty of battery.  The only thing I have found is to hold the power button until the light goes off and restart.  I have applied all the new drivers from Lenovo.

I like the machine and I'd rather not return it.
