Hi - I have installed the Fall Creators Update and since the update, my laptop (Yoga 900) goes to sleep within 1 or 2 minutes, even when plugged in. I've even changed the power settings to not sleep at all and it still happens.

Signed up for this forum because my Yoga 720 is doing the same thing. 1-2 minutes of inactivity and the laptop just peaces out. This is very frustrating when trying to backup my phone on my PC and the phone is in mid-backup and the laptop just goes to sleep. Called Lenovo today and they told me to do the basic power management adjustments BS. Have a feeling that this is due to a recent Windows 10 update and nothing to do with Lenovo.

Okay I just got it working. Try doing this:
Configure your power settings, make sure they are set and then restart the PC (Start>Power Button>Restart).. This worked for me, the laptop is now following my screen saver and setting parameters.

Can you please elaborate? What do you mean by 'make sure they are set'? My power options are set to balanced and it's still sleeping after a few seconds idle (reboot doesn't make a difference)

Same experience here. I would guess around once a month the "extreme" sleep behaviour kicks in. Takes 1 or 2 attempts of opening/applying default Windows balanced profile and restarting for it to go back as expected. The Windows Power Options all appear as though nothing has changed.
