flex 2 15d unable to change option in bios

2021-07-21, 22:18 PM

Hi. I´m trying to activate the TPM option in Bios.

When i access to BIOS, Security tab i find several options:

Secure boot: enabled

Secure boot status Enabled

Platform mode: User mode

Secure Boot Mode: standard mode.

These options appear in grey so i can´t change them.

when i access in win10 to tpm.msc the system says: don´t detect any tpm.

Why in BIOS is enabled this option but windows doesn´t?

Please help me!

According to the PSREF for the Flex 2 15" , it does not have any TPM chip.

Hi,

I don't have access to the BIOS for your machine, but what you have posted are Secure Boot settings, not TPM settings.

You don't provide the exact machine type model so I cannot say for sure, but I don't believe that your laptop came with a CPU that supported TPM 2.0.
