microsoft Recovery Disk

does anyone know where to acquire THE microsoft recovery disc?

After all, lenovo's restore disc only get you so far?

What happens when your hard drive becomes corrupted and the windows asks you that it needs the microsoft recovery disc, lenovo's isn't accepted!

You can create your own Windows Recovery (System Repair) disk from the Windows Backup and Restore tool.  Go to: Control Panel->System and Security->Backup and Restore->Create a System Repair Disk. You can also download the disk creation tool from the web; just Google "windows system repair disk".

Re: Microsoft Recovery Disk

This Link will take you to ISO downloads of 30 day trial versions of Windows 7. They are completely legitimate and original ISOs and can be converted to full versions after installing by utilising the Window Product Key affixed to your PC. These are  NOT a pirate version of Windows but will allow legitimate users of licensed versions of Windows 7 to reinstall without relying on the hidden partition - and, of course, it's a way to reinstall Windows without the bloatware.
