I have the exact same problem, went from a vista to a 32 bit windows 7 home, and now if I try to use easy capture, its says that the "camera failed to open"

I've checked a ton of places and everyone suggests the Fn+ESC key to turn the camera on/off, but that does absolutely nothing. When I press it I get no response.

I'm going crazy trying to find a solution to this problem.

un-install easy cam, restart your computer and re-install it.

you may need to re-install camera drivers, if you need, install it when you un-install easy cam.

and make sure your function keys are working. if not re-installing power management will fix this issue.

The interesting thing is that some of the function keys work but not others, for example if I hit Fn+Upkey than  my screen brightness goes up, but Fn+F5 or Fn+Esc does nothing for bluetooth and camera. Im not sure if than implies anything in particular. Im just gonna reinstall power management and the camera drivers.

Also I'm a bit confused, is the easy cam driver not the only one I need? Is there also a specific camera driver?

When I go to the lenovo website it only lists one driver for camera compatible with Win 7.

If you could clarify that would be great.
