Diskeeper failed to connect to the service. The service may have stopped.

I have Lenovo R61e with Vista Business.  I get this message when trying to run Diskeeper.  Diskeeper says this is a Lenovo preloaded product and I must get help from Lenovo.  Any help?

Click the start button and right click computer and select manage. There should be a way to see what services are running from there and you can check for problems. Im a little dense on how the system and events viewer exactly operates as Im typing on my XP desktop, so I may get back to you later on once I log onto a PC with Vista.
