"Sorry this app isn't available for your PC". :(

ThinkPad X230T, using Windows 8 Pro with Media Center.

Could install and start the metro app but none of the components inside the app (battery manager, wifi, camera) worked. I'll try a fresh windows 8 install and let you know if it worked.

Thanks very much I downloaded the app.  It runs but immediately tells me to update my drivers.  It then downloads settingsdependency.exe & settingsdepdencytp.exe.  This runs then reports an error

MUST BE RUN ON THINKPAD.  I have a Thinkpad E520.  I tried the Lenovo download ggsd18ww.exe same result.
I spent all day yesterday sorting out my HD Graphics drivers They now work without any errors and battery is back to well over 4 hours, but to get there I had to install new network adaptor and wireless drivers.
As this is a notebook battery life is critical before yesterdays fix I was down to less than three hours on 100% There is obviously a bug in the app that does not rerecognise the Lenovo.

OK. On the T430s with the retail Windows 8 Pro (with UEFI product key detected) installed from USB, it will show up.

On the X230T with the retain Windows 8 Pro but installed from MDT2012 Update 1, it will not show up :(

X220t - Installs and runs OK. Asks for settings dependencies to be installed, does it. Then when I go to a different tab, it again says that I need to install the settings dependencies. I did again, and that worked.

Disapointing that 100% of thinkvantage is not in here, but I guess the Win 8 built in stuff compliments. Still do not see much in the way of power management, either.

Will now pay attention to whether or not this makes things work better, but this is a start!

you are perfectly right that it is a start, as in the rest is absolutelly useless. I think that LENOVO is mocking us. Just on example is the power manager tab in "lenovo settings" absolutely useless no real setting there...

Yes I agree, it's a start! But it's my productive machine, so I have to wait until the app runs satisfying and stable. Meanwhile I will stay on smoothly working Win7.
