To ,

I felt very sorry that Lenovo has no ability to control this late shipping situation.

Or, lenovo can say it is not our responsibility.

Lenovo has to know that the company which consigned the project charged us when 7 was released but they had not done any good job for shipping.

You are not answering my question but push the problem to Microsoft itself. OK! It's Microsoft's fault, not lenovo's.

But, how come many people who purchased acer or dell got their upgrade kit, but not lenovo.

REMEMBER that the MM company promised  us to start shipping after 7's releasing, But, where is mine?

Many English version has been shipping, where is  the Chinese version?

It has been three weeks since 7' release. Lenovo cannot say they has no responsibility. Compared to our notebook company, their customer received the product(also chinese version).

We don't care who is in charge of the consigned shipping. But, Lenovo has to the job to negotiate with the consigned company. Not let their loyal customers suffer.

Re: Win 7 upgrade program - delivery updates

Am I the only one here that even didn't have the option to enter the credit card details to his order? I placed my order on August 29th, and at that time - I didn't have the option to enter the card details. Since then my POP has been approved and my order status is pending for payment but it can't be shipped until I pay - so... how do I pay? Mentor told me I should receive a link to a secured website to make the payment but I didn't get a thing. Is there anybody who is in the same status as me? Did anyone get the link they are talking about? I'm clueless

Couldn't someone who has actually received their upgrade discs just upload them somewhere so the other people could upgrade their systems from those discs and then enter Windows serial when we actually get our own upgrade discs, shouldn't it give you 30 days time before activation anyway? Also this would be completely legal because we would use our own keys to activate them.

Good idea, it might be worth trying to ask people who purchased theirs after Win 7 releasing to create a set of recovery discs. (Not sure if ThinkVantage still provide this facility on Win 7)

No, I meant that someone who actually has got his upgrade discs through this upgrade process would upload iso-image of their upgrade discs. The key you're going to get wouldn't work with the Windows 7 recovery disc images those people have who have bought their machine with Windows 7. If someone uploaded the upgrade disc it would probably cease some of the "when I will receive my disc" questions.

I agree this would be incredibly helpful and such an obvious solution. I have downloaded and installed the ISO Microsoft has released here. I am praying that when my key arrives it will work to activate it. I would feel much safer if someone could just upload the win64 pro ISO. Anyone?

Yep same here. I don't know about them but I have been "ready for shipping" since October 22. Could they be more obtuse? The thought of potential remedies has certainly crossed my mind but look back on this from the vantage point of 6 months from now when they likely will have it all sorted out. What are the damages? Just a bit of delay. Just a further loss of confidence in corporate advertising hype. Don't ever buy a product based on what the vendor is promising to do for you after the sale, I guess.

My order status was just updated to the same exact thing as yours.

Give it about 24 hours to charge your card (MM lady told me to give it until Tuesday to see the charge on my card. And if theres any problem it will send an email saying if you need to re-enter card info or any other problems.  and hopefully it'll change again to shipping/shipped!

If you have the Idea line series (i have the ideacentre k230) dont be impatient, products will ship by the 16th of Nov. Last i read though from Mark.
