Fulfillment In Progress

anyone knows what that means?

That means it's in progress...? Just wait for it...I know most of us want to get our hands on Windows 7. It's not like you can't live without it

I'm soon honestly starting to believe they don't handle the orders in the request order because some people who had made the order approximately the same day as I did have got already their shipment confirmation last week.

They are definitely not fulfilling the requests in order.  I placed my order on August 12 and my order number is in the 120,000's.  Some people with order numbers in teh 300,000's have already gotten theirs.

Great... so which logic are the using instead? Also I'm still not quite happy that I was told to be charged when the product is shipped and now it's over 2 weeks since they got my money. So... where's my Windows 7? The least Lenovo could do (if they cared about their customers, but we all know it's not going to happen) would be to let us just download the upgrade disc. I'm aware that part of this is caused by MM but Lenovo cannot just back up and say "it's not our fault", especially because they didn't offer the material early enough to MM.

What really bugs me is that the payment has already been made and they're sending the upgrades out in totally random order and no one is willing to give truthful information how much of the upgrades has been sent out so there's absolutely no way knowing how many weeks (or months?) this will still take.

The disks wouldn't be OEM, because OEM disks cannot do in-place upgrades.

Agreed, the fulfillment companyu is doing a lousy job, which is reflecitng poorly on Lenovo. I would expect that Lenovo could put some presure on MM to be mroe responsive. For example, to ship within 2 days of charging or somethng reasonable. My card was charged nearly 2 weeks ago and no shipment yet.

A shipping update/estimate even would be helpful.  On the comments about iso download, I'm sure the agreement with Microsoft prohibits this.

My shipped e-mail never came, but the upgrade disks showed up today. I did a clean install on a new Intel SSD. Thinkvantage won't run for me because my motherboard was replaced and the shop forgot to update teh BIOS with the S/N, so a call to Lenovo tomorrow.  I did get my ultrabay HD tray, so I am now running SSD Boot Drive and a WD Black Data drive. I won't be able to tell if it is WIndows 7 or the SSD that makes booting fast.

<sigh>  No, they didn't.

The upgrade web site was quite clear that there would be a 1 to 2 week delay AFTER GENERAL AVAILABILITY before anything shipped.
