I'm trying to install Windows 7 with an USB (that works on other computer) on my Lenovo S21e but when tha installation said "Starting Windows" the blue screen appears with this error: The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant.
I've updated the BIOS to C4CN22WW(v2.00) version (the latest available).
The settings in my BIOS are:
Configuration: USB Legacy Enabled / Wireless LAN Enabled / Power Beep Disabled / Intel Virtual Technology Disabled / BIOS Back Flash Disabled / HotKey Mode Enabled
Security: all Not Set
Boot: Boot Mode Legacy Support / Boot Priority UEFI First (I've tried even with Legacy First, but nothing changed) / USB Boot Enabled / PXE Boot to LAN Disabled
Exit: OS Optimized Defaults Disabled
Obviously I've changed the boot order, but the blue screen appears every time Windows 7 trying to start the installation.
What is the problem?

I do not have a Lenovo S21e laptop, but have you tried making UEFI-compatible Windows 7 installation media for it? Alternatively, have you tried installing Windows 10, just to see if that works?

Yes, I've just tried to make a UEFI-compatible Windows 7 (x64) USB installation but it gives me the same error (with the Legacy mode).
If I set the BIOS to UEFI mode instead of Legacy, when appears the "Starting Windows" string, a red rectangle appears on the top of the screen and the installation blocks itself...
The Windows 10 installation (or the Windows 8.1 installation) works correctly.

It looks like the Lenovo S21e shipped with two Intel Bay Trail CPU options, the Pentium N3540 or Celeron N2940 CPUs, and Windows 10 Home. Support for Windows 7 on the Bay Trail-class CPUs seems spotty, with some people mentioning they go it to work, and others saying saying it would not install. Given that it sounds like this computer is lacking backwards compatibility for the older version of Windows, the best suggestion I have is to use the supported version that it originally shipped with.
