how do i recover my x201i after installing win 8??

hy, 

 

tried the new win 8 on my x201i, and now i want to go back.

 

the "c" partition got formated and installd win 8 on it, but i still got the original recovery partition.

 

but when i try to start a recovery at boot (Thinkvantage button + F11) - the win 8 is booting again.

 

what can i do?

 

i can try installing a frash copy of win 7 Pro, but i didnt got the original win 7 CD... all i got is the sticker with the product Key.

 

can some one please help me?

Hello Avihy,

 

Once the partition got alter the recovery program corrupts.

If you have the recovery disc then you can use them by external drive.

 

If the recovery disc is not available and to get the pre-loaded Operating System back you can also contact the service center and it may be on chargeable basis.
