After my PC died I bought a G560 i3 and wanted to use my XP (Pro) but it won't install.
Is it possible that this does not work because it's a 32Bit OS but the G560 a 64Bit machine?
I can install and run XP only via Virtualbox with OS X. There it seems to be no problem that XP is only a 32Bit system.
I always thought downward compatibility was guaranteed?
about installing windows, using 64 bit?either lenovo or ibm doesn't provide 64 bit drivers for xp.( your computer may not support 64 bit xp )have you tried to change ide/sata settings in bios?
changing the sata setting to compatible in the BIOs as yigit suggested should allow you to install xp
