Miix 310-10ICR - Recovery Windows USB Boot

Resting PC is not working : Not enough space on HDD

Deleted every possible file but still space is not enough !

 

Booting from USB (to clean install) is working (booting from USB is OK) but display is scrambled, can't see anything ! How to fix this?

Whatever you do, DO NOT install the latest bios update........It has 'killed' my machine.. It downloaded, installed, and then said it needed to restart to complete the installation. Let it restart, It never restarted, and now will not turn on or boot up..........one scrap machine............. This was a bios that was advised by the 'lenovo advantage' program on the machine....... Thanks to Lenovo, my machine is now just a brick. Why offer an untested BIOS update???? My advice............leave well alone............otherwise you could be looking for a new machine, as I am And it won't be a Lenovo branded one, either!!!!!!

Hi, 

I have the same issue.

Updating BIOS through Lenovo Vantage on my 310-10ICR bricked the computer and now it does not work.

Absolutely NOTHING.... That's the answer....

Basically, they are not interested, on any way, shape, or form...

I have written to the UK head offices, over 3 weeks ago, and sent it registered delivery....

It was signed as received a week later, and to date....2 weeks after receiving the letter, NOTHING, not even the decency of a reply to date.......

I have written again a few days ago, posted recorded delivery again, but don't hold out much hope...

Lenovo bricked a perfectly good machine, and as such, are now washing their hands of the loss of £200 of goods.....

 

DON'T BUY LENOVO, they are basically a bunch of CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I am now having to look at spending more money to purchase some sort of replacement machine, and it CERTAINLY WON'T BE LENOVO BRANDED, that's for sure...

No help from this forum, no help from Lenovo themselves......
