Hi all
Ive bought a Mixx 700 with Windows 10 installed out of the box.
The first things that frustates me, is that the cursor during typing, sometimes jumpe to another line
And sometimes lettters are slowly showing on the screen, or not at all!!!
Is this a known bug?
Im in doubt to return this Mixx when I'm the only one who has this problem
thanks!

I got my Miix in December and I am still waiting patiently for Lenovo to fix both the problems you describe. The other day Lenovo's support site showed a download for version 8 of the folio keyboard firmware. It seemed to make little or no difference in my case. For one of your problems, text entry cursor flies around, you can disable the touchpad using the F6 keyboard key while typing. (Not a satisfactory solution for me). Or you can try very hard to keep your fingers far away from the touchpad while typing. I'm getting pretty good at that.
But the second problem you mention is tougher. My keyboard occasionlly goes to sleep and misses a few keystrokes. Then it wakes up and continues to function properly. I don't know if this is a keyboard problem or some kind of power management problem but I sure hope Lenovo will fix it!

I will give it a try for 2 weeks
When no improvement I return my Miix and buy a surface

Hi All,
Just wanted to share that Lenovo posted a second keyboard firmware update (v0009) compared after thr first one in February. This one specifically targets touchpad sensitivity. I installed it without an issue and will test it out for the next few days to gauge any changes or improvements (instead of disabling the touchpad with F6 like before). Just remember, your keyboard must be connected for the update to find it and execute. It's okay if it runs while having a separate Bluettoth witeless keyboard connected at the time like I did, I just didn't use it until it was done.
Thanks,

I sure wish they would resolve the keyboard missing keystrokes issue. That is the only (had to retype 'only' due to keyboard missing letters) issue that I have with this now. Everything else seems to be working correctly and reliably. I wish they would figure this out. Since I have been typing this, I have had to retype four separate words. It becomes quite frustrating. I don't want to return this for a Surface, but if this issue can't be resolved I might just have to replace it. Come on Lenovo, give us a fix!

I noticed that the issue of missed keystrokes seems to go away when the keyboard is flat on the table instead of being raised in an angle .
Can anyone else test it?

I have to say that this is not fixing the missing keystrokes... I am actually sorry I have bout this item as I cannot work with it like this.

Hi there
Putting the keyboard flat does seem to solve the problem... but I have to say it is a bit disappointing that Lenovo has released something so buggy and it pretty much makes this an unproductive tool! I think I might return this item, which is sad as I was really excited when I bought it - should've done more research I guess.

Hi, I'm getting the same issue with the missing keystrokes on the lenovo miix 700. At first I thought it was just typos but i noticed that the frequency with which it happens suggests otherwise. I was wondering about the observations that others made in this thread that suggest that the problem only occurs when the keyboard is slightly elevated. Could this be due to the key contacts failing to make contact with the underlying circuitboard due the keyboard flexing too much?
