Re: X230 picture

2012-05-15, 18:23 PM

After looking at the picture

I have an idea, install the X220 keyboard into X230 if the size of them are the same

Since the keyboard module in X230 looks similar to X220, it could be possible.

The only thing left is ThinkLight

And after looking at X1

It could be a ThinkPad quality + Trackpoint Macbook

Although I am living in a world that only contain Macbook standard

Having a machine that contain some feature form ThinkPad became the only choice

Look forward to The 20th anniversary ThinkPad, hope it won't disappoint me!

[dreaming]

Even a slightly modified X301 is acceptable.

DVD/BD/CD - Rom no longer require

better to have a high resolution panel with IPS technology (16:10)

able to install a 2.5" HDD

modern hardware

others remain unchanged or improved (in terms of traditionalist)

Price will not be a problem, event a double of a Mac

[/dreaming]

The Ethernet port is still at the right front corner. That was one of my "Really? You gotta be kidding" moments when I got my X220.

Why does it still come with a Display Port? Isn't HDMI the new standard?

People say that DisplayPort is for business use while HDMI for entertainment.

Just not sure why Apple use DisplayPort

Because displayport can support WQXGA resolution, also thunderbolts share the same plug format as the mini-Displayport.

If there was any doubt of how people feel about the keyboard change, read the votes/comments here:
