Y27q-20 audio issue

I recently purchased this monitor and updated to the latest LG1.5 firmware. Everything works fine except for the audio. My headphones output audio normally most of the time but when the monitor wakes from sleep, I end up with distorted, hollow-sounding audio. I've managed to fix it by either repluging the headphones in the jack or by restarting the monitor entirely. These are honestly minor inconveniences but I'd prefer a more permanent solution. Will there be an update to fix this in the future? I'm connected via DP 1.4 and using a GTX 1650 SUPER with the latest drivers (465.89), if that helps.

 

Edit: I've tried other headphones and the issue persists.

Where did you get the driver that you installed for this machine?

The driver I mentioned in the original post is the Nvidia driver for my graphics card. I already tried installing the monitor drivers you linked but I still get the same problem.
