I've unpacked the file and ran ISPTool.exe however nothing seems to have happened?

My monitors OSD still says firmware 1.1. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Just received the monitor so I haven't gotten to use it with any games yet but I thought it would better to apply the fix before I run into issues.

An anti-virus could of stopped it.  Windows Defender prompted me and wanted to prevent it from running.

I'm running Fedora 33 with official linux Nvidia drivers for a GTX 1070.   I'm still having a huge problem with the monitor going into standby mode after the flash to the newer firmware.  It happens at 144 Hz and 165 Hz.  I haven't checked anything lower.

I have since checked and its blacking out at 60Hz as well.  I even changed DP 1.2  to see if that made a difference.

Re:Y27q-20 firmware

I updated my firmware this morning and now I have a thin green line running down the length of the screen. I tried a different display port and cable but it didn’t do anything. Any suggestions on what to do about this or how to roll back my firmware?

Disable antivirus and anti malware programs. Then close out of all programs that are running. Then try updating again as Administrator. To be safe disconnect other monitors except the specific Lenovo you are updating.

Thanks for the update, I'm still experiencing blank screens in the Nvidia G-Sync pendulum demo with the update to LG1.5 firmware when using G-Sync @165Hz and @144Hz on my 1080Ti. :(

Hi,

I think i bricked my monitor by installing the new firmware. When i started the installation the screen just turned off and it never turned on again. Pressing any of the physical buttons does nothing and i can't see my monitor from the Windows settings. Any advice how to proceed from that?

Are you unable to power on your monitor at all?

Yeah. The screen doesn't turn on at all. I contacted Lenovo Support and they sent me a new monitor. I'm not sure if I dare try to update the new monitor when it arrives..
