Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
From the looks of things, there is no current plan to go beyond Android 7 on Yoga Book.
I wouldn`t imagine it will anytime soon either. I think they will keep that for the next generation of Yoga Books.
You can check and keep track of Android updates planned for Lenovo stuff here:
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Are you serious? So the new business model of lenovo is to abandon 1.5 year old hardware just to get their customers to buy new tablets? I really loved my yoga book but this is just ridiculous. Not supporting your own devices at least 2 years is not just customer-unfriendly it's also insane to ignore all environmental aspects going hand in hand with that decision. It's a shame that such a big company as lenovo is not trustworthy when it comes to sustainability and customer relations. Sad but true this will be my last lenovo product - i can't support such a inconsiderate company.

I have to say i'm very disappointed. It won't run my security camera app, it won't run my dashcam app, now it won't download or update ANY app. My old tab2 did all these things. And customer support don't want to help. So it'll be a Samsung for me now.
