You don't happen to use a mesh router do you? Although I've given up on it now, I used to have these sorts of issues with the Orbi...jsut a thought and if you do, then perhaps see if you can set up a guest network on one band (2.4 or 5) and link thee yoga to that network to see if that helps. (or maybe try that on your router anyway.)

Update on this to say that I've hsd no problems since whatever Lenovo did to it.
I sent mine back to Lenovo a while ago under warranty for repair. I haven't used it a that much since but it has definitely been a lot better. As far as I could tell from the notes, they just did a factory reset - but I'd already done that, so I don't know what they did that was different.

Thanks for the reply, would be helpful if they shared there "fix" to the public.
I no have exhausted all options so i will have to sort out a replacment and hope that one does not have the issue.

TL;DR: This problem was solved for me with a simple settings change.
I too have had this issue in my Yoga Book. A week ago I made one more desperate attempt to solve this issue. With now one week of use and no WIFI issues it really seems to work.
1. Go to Settings -> Location
2. Tap three dots on upper right corner and select scanning.
3. Disable option "WLAN scanning" (I have also Bluetooth scanning disabled)
This seems to have done the trick for me, please reply about your success.
