YB1-X90F suddenly doesn't start at all

2018-02-08, 13:23 PM

Hi all,

I have a YB1-X90F, android tablet and faced this sudden issue. Yesterday I worked on it before boarding the plane.

When I left I just closed it, put it to sleep, no power off, and I board the plane. I put the tablet in seat pocket in front of me and when we were air borne I wanted to work again. But the tablet was off and since I coulnd't start it.

It has only a white led on the side, near the USB port that blinks...

I tried to turn it on in all of the possible ways:

- hold the power button pushed for a long time

- pressed power and volume up or volume down.

- tried to charge it.

nothing works. I am writing here maybe I am missing something or maybe you have some advise so I can start it.

Thank you,

Same thing happened to me just before a trip - I think my YB died from low power, I plugged it in to charge but it would not restart: the only sign of life is that the white LED pulses slowly (about a pulse per second). Have tried the same things - 10 second/30 second press on the power button, volume up + power button.

I guess since the first post to this thread was a year ago this hasn't been answered? Have tried customer support, but the phone and online chat don't work...

Mine's back at lenovo now. Needs new motherboard and keyboard. Cost is more than its worth so I've replaced it with an Asus 1/2 price of the repair
